Initiative foundation vista

The Local Food Sustainability Project, which is spearheaded by AmeriCorps VISTA members, is gathering information from local farmer's foodmakers and farmers' markets to strengthen and support the local food system for years to come. A new committee has been formed to gather the information needed to develop more resources, training, and general support for market managers, vendors and even customers. Sharing knowledge is critical for the success of many businesses.

This is especially true of food and farming entrepreneurs. A new advisory committee was recently created to help support food producers in our region. Our ESG programs and Key Performance Indicators support long-term, sustained corporate objectives and business success.

The ESG program leverages Vista Outdoor resources to lower costs, demonstrate environmental stewardship and expand diversity where we work and play. Learn More. The Initiative Foundation is a regional foundation with the mission to "Unlock the power of Central MN people to build and sustain thriving communities. Through these programs and our Innovation Grant Fund discretionary pool of grant dollars , the Foundation makes approximately a million dollars in grants to Central MN nonprofits and government agencies each year. The Foundation is highly regarded as a regional "thought leader" and is centrally-located to the region in beautiful Little Falls pop.
