I tried moving the PC to other places even downstairs 3 feet from the router and it still exhibits the same behaviour! I can only attribute that maybe to RF overload of the transceivers? Or the Dlink hardware or firmware has some serious flaws in them most likely. So folks, I back off of my initial rave for this Dlink setup. It still seems pretty nice otherwise, but these quirks now have shaken my confidence in them. Just need to pass on the facts. I will find out when I get that router tomorrow.
