Recorded from FM radio - The quality of these tracks isn't amazing - It would be nice to find a better copy of this session if anyone out there has one I have a better copy of 2 of the tracks from the session, so I've included those, but as it's not the whole session I've included both versions so there's a version of those tracks that match the rest of the session in volume etc.

Now - the album that's normally provided our last places in these rounds has been the Christmas album "Baby It's Cold Outside". Some of them are just a case of "Well, it's a decent enough version of a Christmas carol".

Some I've not been convinced about - something in the setting just hasn't felt quite right. However this next one is somewhat of a guilty pleasure - I absolutely love Cerys's rendition of kids carol " Little Donkey ".

Alas the rest of you don't like it enough for it to go through. Finally, a little French song - "Il Est Midi ". I know nothing of where this one comes from, myself.

Tue July 13, , There are some creatures that I'm sure got their name due to the sound they make, and the cuckoo is definitely one of them. Anyway, the Welsh for cuckoo is pronounced much the same, but spelt gwcw. Farewell to " Y Gwcw Fach ". We all wanted it out. Time for another carol next, but this time an Epiphany one.

It's an interesting take on a true classic. Again, we all wanted it out. Both have failed to make it through the first pass - as it's time to lose the Welsh version of " Evelyn ". It translates as "The Little Tinker Boy". It's a lovely song, but once again, we all wanted it out. So - we all wanted those four out - but which song should join them? Well, I thought it should be "Apple Core". Chantal thought "Karaoke Queen" should get the chop, and Metalweb wanted "Carolina" out. However, in each case, the other two of us really liked the song and wanted it saved.

Therefore, let's lose a song that none of us wanted out! The simple fact is whilst it wasn't in the bottom five for any of us, the "Bleed" b-side " Painful " didn't exactly have any huge fans either, so it goes in a rather odd round. Wed July 14, , From a round where we all agreed on most of what went out, to a round where we really didn't! First up - a tune I know as a hymn tune but I can't for the life of me remember what words I know to it.

Anyway, it was also the tune to folk song " Dafydd Y Garreg Wen ".
