While individual Shelix heads have a 32 to 44 week production time from the date of order, our fully installed DW Planers typically ship within 2 to 6 weeks of your order and are ready to use right out of the box. If you select the Original OEM Head Size option, you will need to remove the Byrd KN carbide tips that come pre-installed on your head first before you can install your new cutter head. One your head is installed you can re-attach the carbide inserts to your head.
